We have guaranteed in stock dressing sticks consisting of aluminum oxide or silicon carbide, that come in multiple varying grit, hardness, and sizes. We also provide heavy metal truing / dressing rods for centerless and surface grinding applications.
A few helpful tips that we give to our customers: Choosing the correct dressing stick depends on a number of application and material make up questions. These questions include, what bond, concentration, and mesh size the diamond or CBN grinding wheel being dressed consists of. As well as what RPM the diamond or CBN grinding wheel is being dressed at.
When purchasing dressing sticks from ASI, our staff can provide you with expert assistance to choose the dressing stick that will fit your specific needs, which in turn will improve your grinding applications.
If your company utilizes high quantities of dressing sticks, please ask about our Hold for Release agreement and/or Blanket Order agreement. These agreements can ensure that we will always have the specific dressing sticks you need on hand, ready to ship, which will decrease your lead times.
